The Wool Company began in 1983 as a local source for carded wool and handspun yarn. Over the years we have expanded, thus adding new avenues for our customers to explore. We now carry a wide variety of commercial yarns, fibers, weaving supplies, books, needles and accessories. It is our dedication and love for the traditional fiber arts that has made us the oldest and largest coastal yarn shop in Oregon.
While looking through our web site, please remember that it contains only a small sample of the yarns and products we carry. A complete list of our yarns is available for those interested. Of course it's not like being able to come in and experience the color and texture in person. So for an even more inspiring adventure, be sure to plan a trip to Bandon with a visit to The Wool Company on the top of your "To Do" list. You won't be disappointed!

Lace Sampler Scarf Class Thursdays, June 12th -July3rd
Gail will be giving her Lace Sampler Scarf Class starting June 12th from 10 to 12. If you’ve ever wanted to give lace knitting a try this would be the time to do it! Gail is our resident lace expert who knows all of the tips and tricks to knitting beautiful lace. This class will run 4 weeks, pattern is provided. Class fee: $25. |
NEW SUMMER HOURS! OPEN SUNDAYS!
Starting Sunday June 1st, we'll be open from 12-5. Judy Casey will be our "Sunday Person". She's a wonderful knitter who can help with any of your knitting questions. We'll also now be open from 9:30 - 6:00 Monday thru Saturday. The new hours will be in effect through Labor Day. We'll look forward to seeing you! |
